beach.
"In all things bright and beautiful, in all things wise and wonderful,
the Lord God made them all. He gave us eyes to see them, and lips
that we might tell, how great is God Almighty, who has made all things well."
Why is it that every time you go to the beach, you never
want to leave? When I was younger, and even now, if you
ask where I want to go on vacation, I'll always say "the beach".
Put me on a beach somewhere, anywhere, and I'll be content.
Although I never seem to wake up early enough to see the
sun rise on the beach, I always love to watch the sun set.
It is a reminder to me of how great our God is. He created all
the things that I love about the beach: the waves, the sun on
my face, the sand under my feet, the sound of children laughing,
the smell of sunscreen, seashells, and even those annoying
"advertising planes" that fly by right when you start to doze off.
Whenever I am at the beach, it seems like I am always in a rush
to try to fit everything in that I want to do and see, but I
love the moments that I can just sit back and reflect on all of
God's creation. I think that's why I love the beach so much.
It's a time for me to put my daily life aside, and go to a
place that displays exactly how amazing Christ is. He gave us
all of this to enjoy. Next time you're at the beach, sit back and think
how lucky we are to have such an amazing God.

flying.
Pilot and copilot.
So glad I got to do something with him that he loves so much.
He even surprised me and took me to the beach.
Can you say, brownie points?
